Share a reminder list
You can share a reminder list with other iCloud users. You might want to do this, for example, to keep all the members of a sports team apprised of what needs to be done for the next game. As the owner of a shared list, only you can add and delete list participants.
Participants in the shared reminder list can view and edit the list (mark items as complete, add items, and delete items), and see who else is sharing the list using these apps: iCloud Reminders, Reminders on an iOS device, Reminders on a Mac (or iCal in OS X v10.7.5), and Microsoft Outlook.
Share a list
Click the broadcast icon next to the reminder list.
Type the email addresses (or contact names) of all the people you want to share with.
Click Done.
All invitees receive an email invitation, which they must accept in order to view and edit the shared list.
Stop sharing a list
You might want to stop sharing a list with one or more participants because, for example, those people are no longer part of the group using the list.
Click the broadcast icon next to the shared reminder list.
-
Click the email address or name of the person you no longer want to share with, then choose Remove Person from the pop-up menu.
Delete all participants if you no longer want to share the list with others but want to keep it for yourself.
You can also delete the list if you no longer need it, which effectively stops sharing it with all participants.
Add new participants
Click the broadcast icon next to the shared reminder list.
Type the email addresses (or contact names) of the people you want to share with, then click Done.
Resend invitations
As the owner of a shared reminder list, you can resend invitations to all or selected participants at any time. You may want to do this if you’re tracking invitation responses and notice some invitees haven’t yet responded.
Click the broadcast icon next to the shared reminder list.
Click the triangle next to a participant’s email address (or name), then choose Invite Again.
