Send email using a web browser
Using iCloud Mail, you can compose and send email using a Mac or Windows web browser. For recommended browsers, see the Apple Support article iCloud: System requirements.
Note: If you want your iCloud email to appear on your devices, they must have the iCloud Mail feature turned on. For more information, see Set up iCloud Mail on your devices.
Compose and send messages using iCloud Mail

Click the Compose button.

Type one or more names or email addresses in an address field. Press Return or type a comma to end each name or address.
As you type, iCloud Mail tries to suggest a complete address. To use it, press Return. If a list of suggestions appears, click one to use it. Suggestions include matching addresses from your iCloud Contacts, recipients you recently emailed, and sets of recipients you emailed together at least twice recently.
To view all of your contacts, click the Add button at the right end of the address field.
To include Cc and Bcc address fields, click Cc/Bcc.

If you want to send the message from an address you don’t usually use, click From, then click the adjacent address and choose a different address from the pop-up menu.
You have multiple addresses if you created an email alias or you have an @me.com or @mac.com address in addition to your @icloud.com address.
In the Subject field, type a subject for the email.
Type your message, then click the Send button in the upper-right corner of the New Message window.
Important: Outgoing iCloud Mail messages can’t exceed 20 megabytes (MB), including attachments. If you use an email app (instead of a browser), a message smaller than 20 MB might still be undeliverable. Also, your Internet service provider (ISP) may have message size limitations. If a message is returned to you because it exceeds the maximum size, send the contents of your message in multiple email messages, or use compression software, such as the Compress feature in OS X, to make your attachments as small as possible.
