Delete photos from My Photo Stream

When you delete photos from My Photo Stream, they are removed from the My Photo Stream album on all your devices.

On an iOS 7 device

  1. In the Photos app, tap Albums, then tap My Photo Stream.

  2. Do either of the following:

    • Tap a photo.

    • Tap Select, then tap one or more photos.

  3. Tap , then tap Delete Photo or Delete x Photos.

On an iOS 6 device

  1. In the Photos app, tap Photo Stream, then tap My Photo Stream.

  2. Do either of the following:

    • Tap a photo.

    • Tap Edit, then tap one or more photos.

  3. Tap , then tap Delete Photo or Delete Selected Photos.

On a Mac using iPhoto or Aperture

On Apple TV

  1. Go to iCloud Photos.

  2. Select My Photo Stream, press the center button on your remote, then select a photo you want to delete.

  3. Hold down the center button on your remote, then choose Delete Photo.

    If you simply press the center button instead of holding it down, a full-screen image appears instead of the dialog where you can remove the image.

On a Windows computer

  1. Select iCloud Photos under Favorites in a folder window of File Explorer (Windows 8) or Windows Explorer (Windows 7), then double-click My Photo Stream.

  2. Right-click a photo you want to remove, then choose Delete from the menu that appears.
